Women´s leadership in sucessful startups

Women in Spain occupy leadership positions in startups by 15%, exceed 40% as co-founders and the business ideas they undertake reach the forecasts of 70% long-term success. One of every three emerging companies that are created in the country are led by women. Barcelona and Madrid have the largest number of startups run by a woman.

Women’s startups last longer, are more solvent by borrowing less, although this does not imply that they risk and innovate more. Women enter the technology sector more and more in mixed groups and many of them are led by them.
