The Female Entrepreneurship Attraction Program starts

The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism of Spain, through the EOI Foundation, has launched the “Female Entrepreneurship Attraction Program”, which has a budget of 10 million euros for the next three years of funds Europeans “Next Generation-EU”. The objective is to serve to 833 female entrepreneurs.

It is about attracting projects led and managed by women from the European Union, so that they know first-hand the Spanish business ecosystem and can eventually establish business relationships with Spanish entities and invest in the country, while recovering the talent of those who decided look for better job opportunities outside the Peninsula, through training and mentoring.

The recipients of this plan will be female entrepreneurs residing in the European Union and who wish to develop their ideas in Spain.

The Program has several activities:

a. Identification of Communities and Local Challenges.
b. Dissemination of the call in the EU
c. Registration and Selection of entrepreneurs
d. Entrepreneurs-Local Communities Assignment.
e. Training and itinerary for female entrepreneurs
F. Travel management
g. Measurement of Impact and Dissemination of Results

This initiative adds to the Executive’s commitment to innovation and entrepreneurship, reflected in the recent approval by the Council of Ministers of the Bill for the Promotion of the Ecosystem of Emerging Companies, popularly known as the “Startups Law”, a normative to promote innovative entrepreneurship, which will improve the business climate, favor a change in the country’s productive matrix, create new jobs and make Spain one of the most attractive countries to entrepreneurs.
