Impulsa Ventures is the first incubator specialized in startup creation programs in FP and University. It allows Vocational Training centers to put at their disposal the methodology of startup accelerators and the way to raise funding, seeking to create interdisciplinary synergies between this innovation network to create startups.
The current legal framework is beneficial for emerging companies, the 2022 regulations for startups allow opening the legal and fiscal framework when it comes to financing and attracting or retaining talent. In addition, Dual Vocational Training helps promote entrepreneurship by creating startups and also the 2021 Create and Grow standard allows the creation of a limited liability company with a share capital of one euro.
Impulsa Ventures and IES El Rincón form a great tandem that is committed to the new generations and to the undertaking of new business ideas. Impulsa is a startup studio, a factory for European startups with a focus on global markets. It focuses on early stages (early pre-seed, pre-seed and seed). The startup incubator is based on an online academy, a collective online investment platform, a community of international advisors and support for visibility and public projection (events and digital media). It also develops its activities both for its own resources and for third parties, such as education centers, corporations and institutions, where they offer their platforms in a Startup-as-a-service model, by subscription or franchise. While the IES El Rincón is a center that belongs to the Network of Entrepreneurship and Innovation of the North of Gran Canaria, made up of eight of the Vocational Training (VT) centers and whose objective is to collaborate in the development of transversal actions and projects that they arise from the professional families with presence in the centers.
Computer Vocational Training students at IES El Rincón will be able to learn from the inside how to communicate, create, launch a startup and work within the incubator. In addition, in the internships, students will be able to design their own emerging company or startup.
