How foreign startups could establish themselves in Spain

There are many foreign startups that would like to establish themselves in Spain, this is due to several factors, including the open and dynamic economy, infrastructure, human talent, since most have higher education, and quality of life. For this reason, a program called Rising Up has been created, promoted by the Ministry of Industry and ICEX. To participate it is necessary to be open to collaborative technological innovation.

Rising Up offers:

-Test new technological applications such as big data or IoT.

-Work space for at least 6 months in a local partner, without entry costs and with possible subsequent remuneration.

-Ease of obtaining visas for entrepreneurs.

-Legal advice and all kinds of paperwork and procedures to be able to establish your business in Spain.

-Visibility through the media to favor the entrepreneurial project.

-Access to one of the Spanish networks of investors.

-Contacts.

The startups that apply must establish a technological solution to a local partner in Spain and then the companies will be selected by experts based on certain parameters. Once everyone has signed up, the participants will be evaluated and a bootcamp will be organized in July to enable the creation of an alliance with a local partner. Then only the establishment of the company in the country would remain.
